Bitcoin is the best investment you could have made, according to Business & Finance magazine Forbes. They have made a nice graphic, that shows all different kinds of investments that were made on the beginning of 2013, and all the investments were $100. They compared the Bitcoin investment to Litecoin, Netflix, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Amazon and even Gold.
Although a lot of investors have hesitated to jump on the Bitcoin bandwagon, due to its volatility, those who did made amazing returns this year alone. Investing in Bitcoins can be done by buying BTC directly from an exchange, or through venues like the Bitcoin Investment Trust (BIT). However, it seems that Bitcoin is getting more and more recognized as a safe investment lately, and we expect that a lot of new money will flow into the BTC ecosystem in 2014. Earlier this week we got the news that Asia’s richest man Li Ka-shing has made an investment in payment processor BitPay.
Surprisingly, Litecoin came in 2nd in this list, which means that Cryptocurrencies have outperformed all the “hot” stocks this year, which we think is a huge win. Both BTC & LTC still have a huge growing potential as the 2 biggest Cryptocurrencies in the world, and we are eager to see what 2014 will do to them.
