Windows Litecoin Miners
There are a few very interesting miners for Windows. The most popular miner for windows is the cgMiner, which is available on various forums and websites. Just do a quick Google search, and you’ll find a lot of different versions of cgMiner, with all kinds of pre compiled binary’s. The second most used Litecoin program is the official client, which you can download directly from their website (Windows/Mac). It has an included wallet, which you can also encrypt for more safety. Although this client is not as powerful as cgMiner for example, it is definitely the most stable one.
Mac Litecoin Miners
The official Litecoin client is also available for the Mac. I can highly recommend you this program to mine Litecoins on your Mac, as it is very stable, doesn’t cause any overheat to your processor or gpu, and it has a wallet built in, to send and receive. An other very powerful miner for the Mac is the ScryptMiner, which you can download from the Github page in the beginning of this post. Its powered via terminal, and via some commands you can get it running in a few minutes. Its definitely the most powerful mining software for the Mac, and it also runs very good on Apple laptops.
