Bitcoin BoardGermany’s biggest online Perfume retailer starts accepting Bitcoin, as of this morning. Parfuemerie.de has partnered with Bitpay to process payments for their webshop. This website is the first big retailer that starts accepting Bitcoins in Germany. They sell more then 10.000 Perfume & Cosmetic products & have more then 22 Stores in different locations in Germany.
To celebrate the fact that they have started accepting the digital currency, Parfuemerie.de has issued a 12% discount code applicable to all their products. The code is “HappyBitcoin”, and can be entered in the checkout process.
On their payment FAQ page, Parfuemerie.de says this about Bitcoin: “A very fast & easy way to pay for your Perfume via the integrated Bitpay payment page”. Germany may be one of the country’s that is most active in the Bitcoin world. In 2013 a lot of shops in the Kreuzberg district in Berlin started accepting the coins in their own shops.
